What type of point of view is used in the call of the wild ?

The type of point of view which is used in The Call of the Wild is the third person limited omniscient. The story is told and viewed through the eyes and the mind of a dog, the main character of The Call of the Wild.  

EXPLANATION:  

The third-person point of view omniscient is when the narrator or author of a literary work knows all of the feelings, thoughts, and sensations of all of the characters. Usually, the author tells the story from the main character of the story. When the author knows all of what happens in the story, it gives the readers full knowledge of all characters and situations. The third-person point of view omniscient is seen as the most trustworthy and objective among all of the other points of view because the narrator or author knows all of the whole stories of each character and situation. Thus, the readers know and experience all of the characters’ feelings, situations, and thought.  

In the story The Call of The Wild, the story is told from the point of view of the main character, Buck, which is a dog. It is a story about Buck, a dog who experienced the previous hard-life as a wild dog before he meets a kind-hearted man, John Thornton. Buck and John Thornton become a friend to each other. Yet, one major event happens to Buck and Thornton. Buck then chooses to answer ‘the call of the wild’.
