Internal improvements were mostly about infrastructure and building roads and railroads towards the west. Slavery was an issue because of new states and whether or not they would be slave states. Industry with tariff was mostly found in the eastern parts but as western ones started developing so did the industry in those parts.

Ummm, college students shouldn't? get paid because they need to work for themselves and if they need money then they should go out a get job and work for money

College students should get paid because they might want to provide for there fa!ily or pay their own way through college.
