What is a fossil record? and what does it have to do with evolution?

Fossil records are described as the position of found fossils all through the surface or the layers of the earth. The older the fossils are, the deeper it is found. Fossil records are also considered to be gathered information about the total number of the discovered fossils and the data obtained from them. Fossil records are important guides to determine how life existed before. If you are to assemble a fossil, you will be able to see and tell the evolutionary changes that happened over the past years. Fossil records are evidences pointing out that life before is totally different from now.        

Organisms with the best adaptations are the ones who are can compete for the best. They are the ones who survive. Predators, animals that hunt other animals, must compete to find prey. Prey, animals that get eaten by predators, must compete to stay away from predators and to find their own food.
