Project: Understanding Fertilizers Project Overview
Many people in your area may not understand the importance of high-quality soil. Creating high-quality soil from low-quality soil may require using fertilizer. However, some people do not understand the different types of fertilizers and the importance of proper fertilizer use. We know how important it is to use the proper fertilizer, in the right amount, and to be careful to follow the handling and storage instructions. For this assessment, you will design a flyer that can be used to educate people about fertilizers. You can use the information in the lesson "Fertilizers and Amendments", but you will also need to do some additional research.

Instructions
Design a flyer that can be used to educated people about fertilizers. Your flyer should include:

A explanation of what fertilizer is, including an explanation of organic, inorganic, natural, and synthetic
A explanation of how to read a fertilizer label
A description of fertilizer dangers
A description of safe handling practices
A short explanation of how using too much fertilizer can cause eutrophication
You may make the flyer on your computer or you may hand draw the flyer and scan it or photograph it for submission.
