✔️In downtown Lexington, about 77 Minutemen waited for the British unit on the Green. There was battle which lasted for some minutes. It's not really clear who fired the first shot. About 8 Americans were dead and 10 were injured, and a Bristish soldier was wounded. The British unity then moved to Concord.
