I was only the second woman to receive a Phd from the University of Chicago in mathematics.

I was only the second woman to receive a Phd from the University of Chicago in mathematics. When my husband suffered a stroke I took over his teaching responsibilities. There is a star next to my name in the 1921 edition of American Men of Science, quite a feat for a mere woman. I delivered a Colloquium Lecture of the AMS in 1927, only to be the only woman to do so until 1980. Who am i?
