Fc is a 54-year-old man with a history of chronic heavy alcohol use. he has frequent bouts of gastrointestinal bleeding for which he has been hospitalized on six separate occasions over the years. he continues to drink and exhibits most of the common manifestations of alcoholic cirrhosis. he was recently hit by a car and was hospitalized for a broken leg. he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident and had a blood alcohol level of 1.8. fc's family reports that his mental functioning has deteriorated significantly over the past few months.

FC
Chronic HYPONATREMIA
FC has a massive depleted electrolyte issue due to Dehydration. Among other many contributing factors.

FC is losing Cognitive Faculties due not only to Alcoholism but because the Digestive System absorbs more than 90% of the neuro transmitter, Serotonin. His Testosterone is most likely severely low, around double digits as not only alcoholism but continued system distress significantly lowers sex hormones in both men and women. If FC began drinking before the age of 22, He most likely stunted the natural development of the Brain as it is not fully developed, scientist have said, until an avg of 22. I believe it is actually around 30. If FC smokes, FC is contributing the increased chance that the amount of O2 present in the blood is very low and resulting in the brain not recieving critical amounts of Oxygen.

Very few people survive a BAC of 1.8 accompanied by Blunt Trauma such as being hit by a Car, let alone AT all. FC must either get help, seeing as how their mental state is "altered chronically" I would them committed and then treated. Either that, or be complicit in their slow death. It is blunt, honest, and it is nothing short of the Facts. Truth does not hurt, Facts do. The fact is, if i were a doctor, FC would not have left my care until FC recieved care for Chronic Abuse of Alcohol. Which also accompanies many mental disorders. i took an oath as a Healthcare professional in the Navy. Doctors and Civilian practitioners are not doing enough to follow their oaths. Its about more than going through the motions and not violating a contract. Keeping an oath is a lifestyle, its often times going to be a risk to your livelihood, future, and family life. So anyone claiming to be a "healthcare Professional" that does not risk it all to prevent such happenings as preventable death, is nothing short of a misguided individual. There is my complete answer. FC either gets help or a stroke, heart attack, exsanguination "bleed out" internally is likely in their future. If they havent disowned you, you aren't trying hard enough. thats a quote and not an accusation.

1. alcoholic cirrhosis leads to hepatomegaly, hypertension or fever due to inflammation of liver cells, in addition to abdominal pain, weight loss, etc.

2. Cirrhosis produces portal hypertension that leads to the appearance of gastroesophageal varices. This has as a consequence the possible risk of bleeding due to the rupture of the vessels.

3. Dementia is caused by increased ammonia in the blood. This produces a series of imbalances in the neurons. As a result, hepatic encephalopathy occurs.

4. In individuals with high alcohol dependence, the most common problem is abstinence. Such alcohol withdrawal can lead to problems like seizures, hallucinations.

Explanation:

1. Another consequence is jaundice, which is a hepatocellular failure, in addition to the appearance of gastroesophageal varices, nausea or vomiting.

2. Another consequence is hypokalemia, decreasing clotting.

3. For the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy, a liver transplant is necessary.

4.Other consequences are disorientation, etc.

1.Energy from the Sun ejects electrons from chlorophyll and splits water molecules to yield hydrogen ions.

Pigments inside the photosystems absorb light energy. Energy is transferred to reaction center, where electron is boosted at higher level. Electron is then passed to an acceptor molecule, replaced with an electron from H2O. and O2 is released.

2.Electrons move down the electron transport chain, releasing energy that pumps hydrogen ions into the thylakoid space

Electron releases energy because it goes from a higher to a lower energy level.

3.The concentration of hydrogen ions in the thylakoid space increase

Released energy of electrons drives pumping of hydrogen ions from the stroma into the thylakoid interior, building a proton gradient.

4.Hydrogen ions diffuse across the thylakoid membrane into the stroma through ATP synthase.

The only way for hydrogen ions to move down the gradient is through ATP synthase.

5.ATP synthase uses the energy released as hydrogen ions move from regions of high concentration to regions of low concentration to make ATP.

ATP synthase is an enzyme that use proton gradient to make ATP from ADP and Pi.
